Enterprise
Reseller : A Enterprise Reseller sells a turnkey solution with integrated Hardware, Software, Networking, Security and Storage to Governments, Large Corporates and Enterprise customers. They have expertise in designing, configuration, implementation, deployment, post sales services and service level agreements (SLA), and have trained and certified engineers for the respective vendors and products. They drives 25% of their revenue from services and focus on large Projects only.

Small & Medium Enterprise Reseller : A SME Reseller are large Channel Partners selling Hardware, Software, Networking, Security and Storage to Large Corporates, Enterprise customers, small medium enterprises (SME) and small medium businesses (SMB). They usually reference all large PC vendors and PCs will account for a large share of their overall activity. Their business model however tends to see an increased share of services which today does not exceed 15%.

Small & Medium Business Reseller : A Reseller sells all kind of IT products. They mainly sell their products with a combination of storefronts, inbound and outbound sales force mainly to home users, self-employees (SOHO) and small businesses (SMB) with 10 to max. 100 employees.

Power Retailer : A retailer has a storefront and sells dominantly via inbound sales. Their customers are home users and micro businesses (SOHO) whose needs are not concerned with high levels of production integration and supports. Retail includes the major types of resellers: Department Store, Chain Store, Consumer Electric Store, Office Product Store, General Merchandise Store, Petrol Stations.

Assembler/Wholesaler: An assembler purchases components and/or semi-finished IT products. They have no research and development resources. They assemble and sell finished IT products to resellers and sometimes directly to small medium businesses (SMB). An assembler is not a manufacturer. The wholesaler purchases IT products and components not directly from the manufacturer, but buys from distributors and other sources. The wholesaler sells its products to resellers.
